3's a company
~ Spent my last homey Sunday here, tagging along with my
motor-kaki friends for a
Sunday Club outing; 1st to the notorious dragstrip in no-man's land in
Sejingkat, but the turnout was a no-show as we were literally the participants-cum-audience present there... probably due to the fact that it had started pouring in downtown area when we were on the way.
Then we moved on to the State Stadium, expecting to catch some track action but were greeted with only the sighs & sounds of a single go-kart running the track; what happened to all the regular hi-powered trackers? Apparently there had been a mishap at Turn1 & they were waiting for path to be cleared before resuming... so we were saved from a dissapointing outing (
takde action).
The action resumes as the pack charged furiously into the tight 90 degree Turn1
*caught most of the action here strategically under the shade of a tree =p *an EVO III braking hard late into the corner
Bee's S15, a regular here is usually one of the more blistering pace setters on this track
One of the 2 B-series powered Civics
an ultra rare turbocharged Chaser Tourer V ~ makes a very potent D1 machine
the furious STi Ver.9; also a regular tracker here
the suave rotary & 6-banger ~ addition of more high-hp variety to the already impressive pack
one of the sickest looking 350Z i've come across; uniquely cool & driven the hard the way it should be ~ fast & furious... from the aggrasive driving style & racing lines it takes, i think the owner used to be driving a certain Skyline ER34 GT-T i've seen in action before.
representing the rotary stable ~ a FD3S RX7 done up in the best way $$ can buy; RE Amemiya kits + big turbo conversion
another EVO III owned by my ex-colleague ~ kudos mate!
A31 Cefiro sporting D1 decals & setup ~ usually seen doing donuts & going sideways into the corners
a turbocharged Satria GTi
the other NA Civic ~ yeah VTEC rules!!
AE92 running a quad throttle setup ~ freaking loud!
& a wide body DC2 on the run
the Pikachu club Hondas also came... =p seriously i dig the Spoon liveried & themed colors on these bad-ass Hondas ~ JDM style
This time round, I brought along
my lovely umbrella girl too, & my
photo-kaki buddy... =)
In a nutshell, it was an afternoon of tarmac ripping & tyre burning fun, even for the spectactors. The sights & sounds of Sunday Club, i'll definitely miss...
