With mountain accomodation bookings made a couple of months well ahead on peak season, (Mt. KK) this is definitely the Mecca pilgrimage for hikers. No, you can't bring your own tent, camp up there illegally with your buddies & warm up on a few bottles of Chivas & Vodka.
No place to stay at Laban Rata, no climb.
damn. now got to figure out a plan B...

just decided to go at the spur of the moment... grabbed some cheap fares from air asia - rm110 for kch-kk return ticket. Then baru thought of going hiking. bo pian lar like that..
