Project RX-78-2 BB Gundam Animation Color 30th Anniversary Version

Worklog shots of my latest Gunpla project; my best looking SD Gundam to date. I've been obsessed with all things RX78-2 lately... thinking of getting the pricey MG RX-78-2 + G Armor next. Now back on to the project:

The parts & runners in vibrant animation colors ~ i like

Also comes with extra detailing decals; sets it apart from standard issue BB gundams which are usually rather bland looking

The assembly manual print also features some nice artwork; check out the BB Zeong! *anyone knows where to get those?*
Zock picking on the uncompleted RX-78-2 *poor fella*

Done with the head & torso; the limbs next, also features equally as much parts.
From Gunpla
in slash mode with the beam saber; other arnaments include the beam rifle & the signature shield which is unfortunately a single piece monotone colored; the colors are actually foil stickers.
From Gunpla
in tembak-langit mode, with decals attached.

The newer generation BB Gundams come with fairly good articulation as shown by its poseability; especially on the feet & shoulder movements.
From Gunpla
G - General-Purpose
U - Utility
N - Non
D - Discontinuity
A - Augmentation
M - Manufacturing
Weapon systems. Geez, i wonder where the get the inspiration from to coin such acronyms... & of the widely varied Gundam installments, each series seemed to have its own G.U.N.D.A.M respective acronyms.
From Gunpla
To date, i'm still very much a snap-fit Gunpla enthusiast; except for panel lining & some minor coloring works using the Gundam color markers which, I've used mainly on my BB Gundams. This one is about to get the same treatment.
