Warning: dragstrip ahead ~!
Location: undisclosed semi-closed road in a light industrial area somewhere way, way outskirt of town. This long stretch of road (in pristine conditions by M'sian standards) in the middle of nowhere has long been the unofficial (meaning when the cops come, you better cabut) testing ground where grassroots drag battles are held every weekend.
The smell of burning rubbers lingers in the air & the sounds of screeching tires & roaring engines fill the atmosphere ~ is something that would keep me keenly awake on a lazy Sunday afternoon...
my maiden trip there was well worth it. It's not often that you get to see modded example of a fairly new & expensive high performance ride like this FD2-R. Let alone to see it being put to its paces in the drag races. Hearing it blast down the straights with the VTEC on full song is truly an audible experience that sends chills down the back of your spine ~ ah, the beauty of aftermarket intake & titanium exhaust system it sports that not only liberates more horses but also enhances the sound the engine makes... =D
