* warning: image heavy post; loading will take awhile =p

~ my 2nd performance outing with my passionate dancing darling; not as a performer or participant, but as the priviledged escort-cum-photographer-cum-props-manager *inventory list consists of only 3 unique chairs* with exclusive backstage access, hehe! =D
Since M's has already got an impressive coverage of her story as a performer, supporting those fasting for the good cause *she's always good with words*, i'll keep my end of the stick by sharing my side of the story through the lens... *coz words just don't flow out as smoothly, for me ~ pichas do the wonders for me*

Stage makeups being stage makeups takes a little getting used to, to look at up close. Those hyper eye-lash extensions could very well be the solution to keep your face dry, when going out in the rain... heheh =p

Belly dancing is new in kuching, and it seems to be what all the aunties are interested in learning, cuz it is pretty erm, 'safe' in the sense that you will be in no danger of breaking a leg or an arm.

Clients in Kuching are also asking for belly dance more nowadays, because it's something new in Kuching. Plus it appeals to the young and old. As for dances like hip hop, older people don't enjoy it as much. But wait till jazz becomes the in thing! :D

eh the 4th pic from the bottom is my favourite pic.. how much did u bought the speed light for? im tempting to get a new one too *very very tempted*

kino: the guru of belly-dancing *m* has spoken! =p

jen: actually that picha was shot without flash... coz the batt of the speedlite died-ed just before the finale... was using manual mode for the shot
actually the speedlite belonged to roy, just borrowed to shoot the event... he got it for around rm1.6k just a few months ago. if u're keen on shooting indoor subjects, u should invest in one; not too sure what the prices are like for nikon speedlites, but it's worth to check out compatible 3rd party ones as well =)
