Last day of our trip. Initially planned for a trip to the newly opened KK Adventure Park, just 35mins south from town with signature attractions like the bungee trampoline, ATV & flying fox which I was eager to try out. But since most of us were already burned out (beyond recognition), we settled for a much ‘milder’ in nature trip to the national museum, with some spare time to do some shopping in the afternoon.
Authentic
Not sure what’s Ah Niu’s advert doing here; maybe some of the in-house specialty dishes are of Kedah origin
Lunch break at Little Italy just beside our hotel lobby before checking out.
KK’s quite a little shopping heaven in the east. At least better than Kuching. Some of the stuffs I bought:
2. Nike running arm wallet at Rm40. Been wanting to get one of these for quite sometime; handy strap-on storage for valuables (handphones) when you go jogging or work-outs
3.Rip-Curl surf pants at Rm48.90 from FOS. Usually has a 3-digit price tag elsewhere
Filipino market – packed like sardine can inside but a lotsa exotic stuffs to be discovered
Sea horses? Are these even edible?
Sea cucumber at Rm380 per kg. Bargaining is the name of the game here, which I really suck at, so I ended up buying nothing
Shark’s fin at Rm1400 a pack. Gee, it’s got better selling price than our wafers!
A SPOON DC2 type R. Not too many high performance cars are seen prowling on the streets of KK. Big 4WDs are the craze here
A Mugen DC5 rear wing??
Another landmark along the water front
